Who are we?

The Bloomfield Public School’s main objective is to provide a caring and positive atmosphere to promote social, physical, intellectual, emotional and creative growth of children. Learning experiences, appropriate for the developmental age of each group are provided daily, so that children feel good about themselves. Positive guidance techniques are used by our staff to enhance a child’s feeling of self worth. The daily schedule includes large and small group interaction which helps the children learn to cooperate, listen and share; self selected activities which stimulate cognitive growth and imagination as well as emotional and social development;

And outdoor activities which help to develop motor skills. Based on the theory that children learn through play, classroom routines encourage active involvement, reinforcement through repetition.

We believe that discipline, manners, etiquettes and social values are integrated part of children growth and the teachers lovingly guide and redirect the children to help them to learn to cooperate with their peers and to have positive educational experiences to encourage and enhance their growth and development.

Recognizing that children grow in predictable stages, Bloomfield treats each child as individual, working from the level each child has attained and moving forward a step at a time. We teach a love of learning by allowing children to experience their own stage of development and helping them to feel success without pressure.
